Q. What is Stetson University’s Giving Challenge?
Stetson University’s Giving Challenge is a 36-hour period celebrating philanthropy and school spirit. It's all about participation, so make a gift, share with your friends, and participate in the challenge all while supporting your favorite area of Stetson University!
Q. When is Stetson University’s Giving Challenge?
Stetson University’s Giving Challenge begins on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 at 8:00 AM and runs through Thursday, March 21st, 2024 at 8:00 PM.
Q. Who can donate?
Anyone! You can make your gift online, through the mail, or call (386) 822-7455 to make your gift over the phone. Donations through Stetson University’s Giving Challenge online portal to charitable nonprofit organizations are tax-deductible and cannot be refunded. Contributions may be made via credit and debit card only. Donations will be received and receipted by GiveGab.
Q. Is there a minimum donation amount?
Yes, the minimum donation amount to make a gift online is $5.00.
Q. What is GiveGab?
GiveGab is a nonprofit giving platform that helps nonprofits to raise money, engage donors and manage volunteers quickly and efficiently. GiveGab offers a full portfolio of simple and easy to use products that allows organizations to function in a more streamlined manner.
Q. Who will receive my contact information?
The fund(s) you choose to support will have access to your name and email address. This information is used solely to send thank you messages, provide the option to receive future notifications, and to notify you of future activities.

Q. What is the Stetson Fund?
The Stetson Fund ensures that academically qualified students of every economic, ethnic and social background are welcomed into more than 135 years of unbroken tradition of challenge, learning, exploration, and growth. The dollars raised for the Stetson Fund directly benefit critical needs identified by the university.
Q. What are challenge gifts?
Stetson Alumni and partners have pledged to donate varying amounts if donors come together for Stetson University's Giving Challenge. Throughout the day, we will be announcing different challenges, so keep an eye on our landing page to see what is being announced!
